With its mission of ‘To realize a world of “Co-Existence and Growing Together” through human resources development’, AOTS has committed itself to human resources development to support various economic activities identied as critical issues for the genuine sustainable growth of Japan and the rest of the world. Our network of AOTS alumni societies, covering 71 cities and regions in 43 countries, all founded voluntarily by former training participants in respective countries, represents the result of the world-class achievement of technical cooperation by AOTS. Those societies, with a rm desire to make use of their experiences in Japan for the advancement of their home countries and the world, have been engaged in numerous grass-root programs such as HRD, cultural exchanges as well as philanthropy. Today, those societies also function as our reliable partners in new kinds of services to assist Japanese businesses and organizations to explore new opportunities in the world through their working-together commitment with the AOTS Research Institute as well as our New Global Cooperation scheme. It is my pleasure to announce to you that we will host the 10th World Convention of AOTS Alumni Societies in 2019 in Tokyo, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of AOTS’s establishment. AOTS works together with the alumni societies, taking on various challenges to accomplish our mission in order to respond to fast changing industrial societies in and out of Japan.Last but not least, I sincerely request your continued and invaluable support and understanding of our activities. Mr. Koji Hasegawa, Chairman of AOTS Message from the New ChairmanMr. Koji Hasegawa, Chairman of AOTS
