HIDA JOURNAL10“Monodzukuri Jinzai Ambassadors”: Creation and AppointmentSince 1959, the foundation of what would later become HIDA, the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS), we have been involved in developing human resources of over 380,000 persons for industries in the respective overseas countries, most of which were developing countries. After completing training on HIDA/AOTS programs, our graduates then returned their respective homes in 71 regions in 43 countries, and voluntarily formed respective alumni societies.
