Overseas TrainingOverseas training is collective training provided by experts from Japan in order to enable trainees to acquire the basic skills required for local companies and applied skills that can be used for a wide range of purposes. Overseas training programs include training projects that are implemented by cooperating companies and organizations recruited for specific purposes as well as training projects designed and implemented by HIDA.3. Experts DispatchExperts dispatch programs are aimed at helping Japanese companies branching out into developing countries to eff ectively develop business in their respective countries. To that end, companies in Japan having capital or transactional relationships with Japanese companies, etc. in developing countries send engineers with expert skills to them as HIDA experts. These experts provide on-site training to improve productivity and product quality, to enhance business and production management skills, and to support the development of local industrial personnel (Figure 2).lectures, seminars and factory tours. Training is provided at HIDA’s training center for a period of two or three weeks. Major training areas are shown in the following table:
